The Asheboro City Council is comprised of the Mayor, Mayor Pro Tem, and six Council Members who provide leadership and direction for the City of Asheboro. Council Members serve four-year, staggered terms and work together to establish policies, make decisions, and address matters that impact the community. Through their service, the Council helps guide the City’s continued growth and provides leadership for the future of Asheboro.

City Council Regular Meetings occur the first Thursday after the first Monday of each month, unless otherwise noted, in the Council Chamber on the second floor of Asheboro City Hall at 146 N. Church St. Meetings begin at 6 p.m. and are live-streamed on Youtube.
